Salmon or Sea Trout pâté

This delicious fish pate is a tasty addition to any festive buffet menu!

The recipe works equally well with our Natural or Organic salmon fillets, or with Sea Trout. 


  • 2 BigFish Salmon or Trout fillets
  • 150g cream cheese
  • Half a lemon


  • 1 bunch fresh chives or dill



  • 1.

    Cook the salmon fillets in the microwave as per pack instructions

  • 2.

    Put the cream cheese, lemon juice, half the chives, half the cooked salmon and a pinch of salt and pepper into a blender and blend until smooth.

  • 3.

    Place the blended ingredients in a bowl, then add the remaining salmon and chives and stir to combine together.  Place in a serving dish or individual ramekins and cover with clingfilm, storing in the fridge until ready to serve.

  • 4.

    Serve with miniature bagels, Yorkshire puddings or wholemeal toast, plus wedges of fresh lemon.
